Join Special Collections Librarian Katie Reinhardt in conversation with Leonard Lopez and Joe "Ralph" Ramos as they recall their experiences harvesting onions and other produce on farms in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, 1940s-1960s. The presentation will include Lopez's personal photographs as well as those taken by farmer and Pleasant Valley chronicler Russell Rice (from the collections of the Family Museum in Bettendorf, available on the Upper Mississippi Valley Digital Image Archive).
