"My Journey: Ivory Towers, A True Story": A Conversation with BK Davis

Join us for a special night of conversation with BK Davis, the First African-American Steinway International Recording Artist from the state of Iowa. He will be sharing stories from his autobiography, his experiences within the music business, and his path of sharing his story. BK will also have his autobiography and CDs for sale.

Steinway Artist BK Davis has been composing and performing music for 40 years and has worked with great songwriters such as Little Richard and Billy Preston. Born in Davenport, Iowa, home of 20th century jazz great Bix Beiderbecke, Davis was raised in a musical household.
