Guitar Workshop: Introduction to Guitar with Guided Instruction by Andre Garcia of Quad Cities Music Therapy.
Through hands-on practice, learn about the guitar as an instrument and gain confidence in the next steps needed to learn the instrument. Hand-outs will be provided with basic musical notation, tips, advice on purchasing a good guitar, and resources for lessons and/or self-guided instruction books or online programs.
Registration is required. This program is best suited to adults.
Andre Garcia is a classical guitarist with over a decade of experience. He is a graduate from the Master’s Program at Galloup Guitars School of Guitar Building and Repair. Andre teaches the guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, and mandolin.
