Touch-a-Truck
Honk honk! Wee-woo! Beep beep! Join us in the Fairmount Branch parking lot for fan-favorite, Touch-a-Truck! Come see some of your favorite vehicles from the Davenport Fire, Police, and Public Works Departments. We'll also have Kona Ice, a cement truck, a WWII Jeep, a Scott County Park Ranger vehicle, John Deere equipment, our own OWL (Outreach Wheeled Library), and more! You’ll have the opportunity to see vehicles, check out the controls, and maybe even climb inside! While you're here, decorate our sidewalks with chalk and discover the history of some of these vehicles at the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center table. Buy a cup from the Kona Ice truck and help support our Teen Advisory Board!
