Teen Book + Club: Wildfire
Let's read Wildfire by Breena Bard together! In this timely graphic novel, a teen loses her home and community in a wildfire and then moves with her family to Seattle. She then must choose if she wants to share her experiences and grief with her new community—a decision made more difficult when she learns that a former friend has also made the move to Seattle.
Teens only (ages 11-19.) Registration is not required to attend the book discussion, however, free copies of Wildfire plus extras will be given to teens who register for the book club. The books + extras will be available for pickup from the Fairmount Branch beginning on May 24. Registrants can email Ms. Amber (acarlson@davenportlibrary.com) if they would like their book + extras sent to another library location for pickup.
