Teen Anime Day @ the Figge Museum

The Library invites teen fans of anime & manga to the Figge Art Museum for an afternoon of Japanese culture and art! In addition to prizes given for drawing, gaming and cosplay, there will also be a Japanese Calligraphy contest this year!

Take a lesson from the artist, Anna Ito, at the event or bring an already created piece of calligraphy from home. Also new this year, What's That Funk will present a session about comics & publishing. Ramen, candy sushi & tea will be served and teen participants will get Free Admission to the Figge.
