CANCELLED: Goin' To Chicago: Documentary & Discussion with the AAHC
Join us for a screening of “Goin’ To Chicago", a documentary by George King that focuses on the Great Migration era of African-American history. From approximately 1916 through 1970, an estimated 6-million African-Americans left the rural South in search of better lives. Cynthia Clark, member of the Quad Cities non-profit organization "Afro American Heritage Center" (AAHC) will also lead a discussion after the screening.
