Fall Genealogy Night

Fall Genealogy Night

Come and research after hours, meet other genealogists, get tips and tricks, and eat dinner! We will learn about the Ahnentafel Chart or "ancestor table" which is a type of genealogical numbering system for listing your family history.

The cost is $10. The funds collected at this program will support the conservation of an oil painting of Judge John F. Dillon. Judge Dillon was born on December 25, 1831,  in Kerkimer County, New York. He came to Davenport in 1838 with his family. He began his illustrious law career as an attorney and later judge in the Scott County Courts. Dillon died in 1914 and is buried at Oakdale Memorial Garden.

Registration is recommended.
