Local Author Series: Jodie Toohey

Local Author Series: Jodie Toohey

In this informal presentation, Jodie Toohey, local author and President of the Midwest Writing Center Board of Directors, will talk about her life as a writer and how she went from being a traditional nine-to-five employee in 2009 to being so fully immersed in the book industry today. Then, she will welcome questions, providing the best answers she can on writing, publishing, book marketing, juggling numerous projects, or anything else on attendees’ minds.

All attendees will be able to enter a drawing for a bundle containing a copy of each of Jodie’s novels. Additional copies of all of Jodie’s books will also be available for sale at discounted prices, including her latest book, Shattered Pearl, available for direct purchase for the first time at the event. The event is free and open to the public.
