Q-C History Hop: Center for Belgian Culture
The Quad Cities are bursting with history! Join us in visiting local cultural and historical institutions and organizations around the Quad Cities to learn about the region's storied past.
For this Q-C History Hop, we will be visiting the Belgian Museum of the Quad Cities & Center for Belgian Culture (CBC) of Western Illinois. It is dedicated "to preserve and share our proud heritage, forming a social and professional network to help Belgians residing in, or visiting the Quad Cities area. And, of course, we promote the image of Belgium and encourage the ties of social relations between Belgians in the Quad Cities and elsewhere in the world."
We will be partaking in their monthly waffle breakfast from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and then go on a guided tour of the Belgian Museum from 10:35 to 11:30 a.m.
This program is great for all ages.
