The Library, in partnership with Nahant Marsh Education Center, presents Nature Explorers: Owls. Dig deeper into the world of owls by dissecting an owl pellet! Complete with an owl  pellet, dissection tools, a magnifying glass, and dissection charts, this nature explorer kit will teach you all about owls and what they eat! After dissection, create a model owl out a pinecone! Ages 8-12. Registration required.

This kit will be available for pickup December 1 - December 8. You will receive an email when your kit is ready to be picked up.

Kits not picked up by end of day Wednesday, December 9 will be made available for those on the waitlist. If you need a later pickup date, please contact Youth Services at ysp@davenportlibrary.com. These kits always have long waiting lists so don't forget to pick yours up on time before it gets passed to someone else!

Adult supervision while using Nature Explorer kits is required. Kits may contain choking hazards, skin irritants, or products that can be harmful if swallowed or used inappropriately. Kits may also contain items that will stain or damage clothing and/or furniture. By requesting a Nature Explorerer kit, you are agreeing that you will supervise the use of its contents, and that you will not hold the Davenport Public Library or its staff liable for any injuries or damages that result from the contents of the box.
