We hope your mew year is merastic! We want to celebrate 2021 by making some super fun new keychains/charms out of shrinky dinks that feature designs by local artist and Teen Advisory Board member, Emiko! Each kit will come with keychain attachments, DIY instructions, and a sheet of shrinky dink material with pre-drawn designs and space for you to create your own! Participants will need access to an oven or toaster oven. Teens only (ages 11-19). Other materials may be requested in the registration form. 

This kit is expected to be available for pickup around Thursday, January 14. You will receive an email when your kit is ready to be picked up. Kits not picked up by end of day on Wednesday, January 27, will be made available for those on the waitlist or for outreach. If you need a later pickup date, please contact Youth Services at ysp@davenportlibrary.com. 

Kits may contain choking hazards, skin irritants, or products that can be harmful if swallowed or used inappropriately. Kits may also contain items that will stain or damage clothing and/or furniture. By requesting a Teen DIY kit, you are agreeing that you will supervise the use of its contents/products, and that you will not hold the Davenport Public Library or their staff liable for any injuries or damages that result from the contents of the kit.
