Leaf Pounding Banner
Enjoy the beauty of fall leaves year-round by creating a beautiful leaf pounding banner for your room. We'll gather fresh leaves from the area then carefully smash them to release their colors into the fabric banner! We first tried this last fall and we still can't believe how cool these turn out. We'll also discuss why this works, brainstorm other plants you might try, and other things you could make using this process.
This activity involves use of a hammer and is best for children and teens ages 8-19. The activity will be loud! Registration required.
This program will be held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the event will either be rescheduled or turned into a take-home kit. Please check back here or our Facebook page for updates.
