Introducing Davenport Library's newest book club: SaSS! One Saturday a month we will meet to read short stories written within the last decade by a variety of diverse authors. Our November story is called "Dear Sister" and is part of a collection of short stories by Deesha Philyaw called The Secret Lives of Church Ladies (2020). The Secret Lives of Church Ladies won the 2021 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction, the 2020/2021 Story Prize, and the 2020 LA Times Book Prize. 

This program is best suited for adults.
