Introducing Davenport Library's newest book club: SaSS! One Saturday a month we will meet to read short stories written within the last decade by a variety of diverse authors. Our December story is "A Small Sacrifice for an Enormous Happiness" by Jai Chakrabarti. Chakrabarti's short stories have appeared in numerous journals and The Best American Short Stories anthology. December's story was performed at Symphony Space Performing Arts Center in New York City. Please stop at any Davenport library location to get a copy of the story.
