SaSS: Saturday Short Stories
Davenport has a new short story book club: SaSS! One Saturday a month we will meet to read short stories written within the last decade by a variety of diverse authors.
Our January story is called "The Big Cat" by Louise Erdrich and was published in The New Yorker in 2015. Louise Erdrich has written novels, children's books, and poetry featuring Native American characters and settings. Her novel The Plague of Doves was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Please stop at any Davenport Library location to get a copy of the story.
