Stitch Club : Embroider on Your Clothes Online
Learn how to add embroidery to your favorite shirt, jacket, or jeans! We’ll use simple embroidery stitches and fun designs suitable for beginners or more experienced stitchers. This program will run for three consecutive Thursdays beginning January 13 on the Library’s YouTube channel and is best suited for adults. The videos will discuss supplies and fabric, demonstrate basic stitches, explore ideas for design placement, and how to transfer a pattern to clothing.
While a limited number of kits will be available on a first-come basis, you do not need a kit to participate. All participants will need to provide a piece of clothing to embroider, an embroidery hoop (optional but recommended), and thread snips.
The optional kits will be available at each Library location beginning January 10 until supplies run out. The kits will contain designs to transfer, embroidery floss and an embroidery needle.
