Summer Reading Kick-Off
Join us in the Fairmount Branch parking lot as we kick off our 2022 Summer Reading Program: Read Beyond the Beaten Path. Decorate our parking lot with sidewalk chalk, play giant games, check out the bubble stations, discover Davenport history at the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center table, and try your hand at dunking a staff member from your school in our dunk tank! (schedule below)
We'll also have cool treats and lots of giveaways! Between 1:00 and 4:00pm, buy a cup from the Kona Ice truck and help support our Teen Advisory Board.
Everyone (ages 0-19) in attendance who signs up for our Summer Reading Program will receive a brand-new free book.
