John Deere Planetarium tour
Meet us at the John Deere Planetarium (820 38th St, Rock Island, IL) on the campus of Augustana college and we'll search the cosmos with Dr. Carkner. This program is for ages 8 and older. Registration required.
A program at the John Deere Planetarium includes a 30 minute astronomy show with animations, music and narration projected onto our 30 foot done, a tour of the current night sky including constellations, planets and other objects of interest, a look at some of our meteorites and a question and answer session with Planetarium Director Dr. Lee Carkner. Total time of the program is about one hour.
