Fall Genealogy Lock-In

Fall Genealogy Lock-In

Join us in the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center for after hours genealogy research where you can meet other genealogists, get assistance with brick walls, and ask your family history questions. Midway through the afternoon we will have a chance to socialize and eat dinner! This program is open to novice to expert family historians.

The cost is $10. The funds collected at this program will support the conservation of an oil painting of Judge John F. Dillon. Judge Dillon was born on December 25, 1831, in Kerkimer County, New York. He came to Davenport in 1838 with his family. He began his illustrious law career as an attorney and later judge in the Scott County Courts. Dillon died in 1914 and is buried at Oakdale Memorial Garden.

Registration is required.
