Rock Island Arsenal ASC Series: Korea: Invasion to Incheon
Join Kevin Braafladt, the Army Sustainment Command Historian at the Rock Island Arsenal, and the Army Sustainment Command History Office in exploring the history of the Rock Island Arsenal and American military conflicts throughout the years.
The Korean War is often referred to as the Forgotten War. As we cross into the final year of the 70th Anniversary, we’ll look back at some of the most pivotal moments in the war’s history. In this second-of-three lecture, we will discuss the onset of the war and the strategic movements of militaries as conflict raged on the Korean Peninsula. We will cover roughly the first year of conflict to the Battle of Inchon.
