Rock Island Arsenal ASC Series: Between Embers: Korea to Vietnam – The Advisory Years
Join Kevin Braafladt, the Army Sustainment Command Historian at the Rock Island Arsenal, and the Army Sustainment Command History Office in exploring the history of the Rock Island Arsenal and American military conflicts throughout the years.
As we observe the 60-year anniversary of the advisory years in Vietnam, we will discuss those years in a bit more depth, including the gap years from 1953 to 1962. As we launch this three-part series, we will discuss the interwar years and the buildup to America’s first televised war.
