Thinking or dreaming of retirement, then what are you going to do? Golf, travel, staying in bed longer every morning? There is more you can do! Local author David Rash retired over thirteen years ago and has been wondering how he ever had time for work. He has traveled, attended university, written a book, and is enjoying his life. David will talk about his book, "What In The Hell Was I Thinking?", his life in retirement, and finding fulfillment in retired life. He will also discuss his travel experiences since retirement, a little bit about India, growing up in Iowa, and his experiences getting published.

David Rash worked with the USPS for over thirty-seven years and retired in 2010. He worked as Bettendorf Postmaster, Davenport Postmaster, and Regional Manager for Western Illinois and Southeastern Iowa. Currently he is enrolled at Western Illinois University working on his Anthropology degree. He will graduate in May 2023.
