World War II Lecture Series: Battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa
Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of World War II by joining Kevin Braafladt, the Army Sustainment Command Deputy Historian at the Rock Island Arsenal, in exploring the history of the Battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. These two battles are remarkable for many reasons because one was an epic battle between the United States military and the Japanese Imperial Army and the other as the last major battles of World War II.
